This new fangled interweb
Well, i never thought i'd see something like this. I was only ever used to playing on the piano keys, yes sir. But the smooth movements over these buttons, and what comes out on the interwebs is like music, press it the right way and exactly what you want comes out. Now if i could just figure out where the pedals are on here...
Well my good sir, we are two types of musicians one that plays a trumpet and one that plays the piano. I had came from a very poor family while you had came from one that did have money. Of course this thing called "Wikipedia" may have helped you in the music industry, but I worked with lots of influencial partners, like Buddy Bolden, to help increase my beknowence to others who might have been interested in jazz as well.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that is different between us is that you are a musician and I am sort of an inspirational/hair care type of business woman. In the interview that you had you said “I was never that successful, most of my fame came Post-mortem. I just played the soul that the good lord gave me and hoped". I became famous as soon as my business boomed. That is another difference between us.
ReplyDeleteWell Mr. Joplin we have some differences. I am a classical pianist and can play all different types of music, and you are the “King of Ragtime”. I am white, you are an African-American. Your father was a slave, and mine was not. You lived in America, I lived in Europe. You created a child, and I didn’t come close to making a baby.
